About the Author
Yigal Hezi is a former commercial pilot whose life in aviation and the consequences of one life-altering decision ultimately inspired him to write Lost Procedure.
Becoming a commercial pilot was never easy. It required years of rigorous training, thousands of hours of study, and a significant financial investment that only revealed its full weight once he was deep into the pursuit.
Hezi committed himself fully to that path. He earned his place in the cockpit and, for a time, lived the life that many dream about; flying high above the clouds, where the concerns of the world below seemed distant and powerless.
That sense of being untouchable, however, would later reveal itself as the most dangerous illusion of all. One decision: the choice to use his aircraft and his pilot privileges to transport contraband in exchange for what appeared to be easy money changed everything. The consequences were immediate and irreversible. He lost his the career he had worked so hard to build, and the freedom of the sky. In its place came the heavy reality of knowing exactly what had been sacrificed.
